George Fred Moore, III's Obituary
George Fred Moore, III, 60, of Alliance, died on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 5:26 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on August 19, 1951 in Hot Springs, AR, he lived in Houston, TX and Nashville, TN for the past 30 years, and recently returned to Alliance. He was a 1971 graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. A veteran of the Vietnam Era, he served our country in the U. S. Army . Fred previously worked at American Steel and the Alliance Brick Yard, and had been a body guard for many major rock bands. In his past-time, he enjoyed fishing and bowling. Survivors include his sons, James Wayne and Brian Allen of Alliance; several grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Weisel of Canton and Luanne Moore of Topeka, KS; a brother, James Taylor Moore of Nashville, TN; and a niece, Jennifer Weisel of Canton and nephew, Scott Weisel of Canton. Preceding him in death were his parents, George Fred and Mary Virginia (James) Moore, Jr. Private services will be held. Interment will take place at Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
