Genevieve "Jerie" Graham's Obituary
Genevieve "Jerie" Graham, 80, of Canton, died on Sunday, October 2, 2005, at 9:42 p.m. at Bel Air Senior Living Community. Born in Alliance on February 19, 1925, she had lived most of her life in Alliance, moving to Canton over 20 years ago. Jerie retired from Power Resources Operating Co. Inc. in Canton, where she had been a secretary in the title office. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by two sisters, S. M. Walpert and Freda O Dell, both of Alliance; two brothers, Arthur Sayers of Alliance and Richard Sayers of Minerva; a nephew, Steve Graham of Canton; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Graham on February 19, 2004; and her parents, Louis and Jenny (Wise) Sayers. Funeral services will be held at the Alliance City Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
