Gay Ann Burns' Obituary
Gay Ann (Campbell) “Annie” Burns, 57, of Alliance, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 10:55 am at Alliance Community Hospital.
Born on June 24, 1959 in Alliance, to Robert W. and Anna "Lucy" (Clark) Campbell, she lived in Alliance for all her life.
Gay enjoyed being a freelance artist and was a former member of the Alliance Historical Society.
Gay loved making jewelry, painting, antiquing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Burns, whom she married on June 5, 1992; two daughters, Tammi Benning of Alliance and Christine (Larry Weyer) Fernandez of Beloit; six grandchildren, Alexis, Caitlynn, Robbie, Campbell, Shaylor and Madisin; her great-grandchild, Cameron; a brother, Jimmie (Stella) Campbell of FL; three sisters, Karen Baird-King of TN, Joann (Cork Emmons) Campbell of Alliance and Lisa (Dennis Crookston) Cox of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Ricky L. Campbell and Bobby Campbell; three sisters, Debbie Campbell, Tonia Hubbs and Patty Miller; a niece, Dawn Marie Miller; and a nephew, Steve McCord.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
