Gary Ross Voshel's Obituary
Gary Ross Voshel, 62, of Green Cove Springs, FL, died on Monday, May 3, 2010, at 2:00 a.m., at Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine, FL. Mr. Voshel was born on May 11, 1947 in Alliance, and lived in here until 1981 when he moved to Las Vegas. Gary recently moved to Florida in 2007. A graduate of Marlington High School, Gary was a retired machinist and general contractor. He loved to fish, hunt and tinker. He was a loving father, son and brother. Gary is survived by his fianc , Barb Woost of FL; two daughters, Shawn (Todd) Sickles of Bristol, VA and Heather (Charles) Blackwell of Las Vegas, NV; a son Jeffery R. Voshel of Canton; five grandchildren, Alexis, T.J., Matthew, Jeffery and Adriana; a great-granddaughter, Amberann; his mother, Thelma (Bankard) Voshel of Alliance; a brother, Ronn (Joann) Voshel of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Jeanne (Swietzer) Voshel in 2002, and his father, Harlan Ross Voshel. A Memorial service will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. There will be no calling hours.
