Gary Lynn Courtney's Obituary
Gary L. Courtney, 84, passed away on January 23, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Born on June 20, 1941, in Sebring, Ohio, Gary spent much of his life dedicated to his passions and his family.
Gary worked as an insurance agent, a career that was marked by his integrity and diligence.
Outside of his professional life, he was a devout animal lover, especially fond of dogs, and enjoyed the companionship of many throughout his life. He also had a passion for playing cards, a hobby that brought him much joy and camaraderie.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelby; a daughter; two grandchildren; and his cherished dogs, who were a significant part of his life.
Gary's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Highland Memorial Park Chapel. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
