Frederick H. Kaltenbach's Obituary
Frederick H. Kaltenbach, 91, of Winter Springs, Florida and formerly of Alliance, passed away on Januray 6, 2018, at Wayman Place in Longwood, Florida.
Born on October 3, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, he had lived in Alliance, Ohio, Rochester, New York and Winter Springs, Florida with his family.
He was a graduate of R.I.T. and a veteran of World War II, serving our country in the U. S. Navy.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Winter Springs, Florida and retired from United Technologies, where he was employed for 30 years.
In his past-time, he loved to play golf and spend his time serving at his church.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Baxter; his son, Mark Kaltenbach;
four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 39 years, Christine L. (Frank) Kaltenbach and his wife of 25 years, Gertrude Ann (Frank-Drayer) Kaltenbach; his daughter, Carol Kaltenbach; his parents, Christopher and Elizabeth Kaltenbach; and his brothers, Bill and Bob Kaltenbach.
The family will receive friends at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Friday, January 12, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. His Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini, as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Harrisburg.
