Frank Skivolocke, Sr.'s Obituary
Frank J. Skivolocke, Sr., 95, formerly of Alliance, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home in Austin, Texas. Born on August 6, 1917 in Homeworth, he had lived in the Alliance, Boardman and Austintown areas for most of his life. A 1935 graduate of Alliance High School, he served our country in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Frank had previously been employed at Alliance Machine Co. and then had been in sales in the auto and real estate industries. He is survived by several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Doletta Gallina and Helen (Al) DeStephen; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a son, Joe Skivolocke in 2012; his parents, Louis T. and Mary O. (Valentine) Skivolocke; a sister, Doris Runion; and a brother, Louis E. Skivolocke. Private services will be held. There are no calling hours.
