Frances L. Daily 's Obituary
Frances L. Daily, 83, of Alliance, passed away at her home surrounded by her entire family on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Born on August 16, 1932 in West Mansfield, Ohio to Carl and Edna (Waltner) Jeffers, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
A 1951 graduate of Louisville High School, Frances was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church since 1962.
Frances was employed at Alliance Public Schools & Mt. Union College as a librarian and retired in 1990 after many years of service.
She was a member of Qui Vive Club of Alliance and the Alliance Garden Club.
Frances just celebrated her 83rd birthday with her husband Ralph on a cruise ship in Russia. She loved the Mt. Union Raiders, enjoyed reading books, playing cards, gardening and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family and pets.
Survivors include her husband Ralph J. Daily, whom she married on August 23, 1952 and celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year; daughter, Lisa Epperley of Sebring, OH; granddaughter, Michelle (Anthony) Sines of Raeford, NC; two grandsons, David S. Daily of Louisville, OH, Steven R. Daily of Alliance, OH; sister, Carolyn Hess of Canton, OH; brother, Dale (Shirley) Jeffers of Dayton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Carl and Edna Jeffers; son, David Richard Daily; two brothers, Edwin and Donald Jeffers.
The family will receive friends at First United Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10:30 am - 11:00 am. Her Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am, with Rev. Dr. James McCurdy, officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Union Cemetery at a later date.
