Frances Caruso's Obituary
Frances Caruso, 93, of McCrea Manor, died on Monday, August 28, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at Alliance City Hospital. Born on January 21, 1913 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Mrs. Caruso lived most of her life in Alliance. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of the Roma Society. Frances is survived by two sons, Herbert (Peggy) Caruso of Alliance and Joseph Caruso of Buena Park, CA; four grandchildren, Michael Caruso of Buena Park, CA, Steven (Robin) Caruso and David (Robyn) Caruso, of Alliance, and Sally (Joseph) Trocchio of Rootstown; seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Cody, Kimberly and Nicholas Caruso, of Alliance, Alyssa and Joey Trocchio of Rootstown, and Anthony Schneider of Alliance; a brother, Joe Igro of Sebring; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Caruso on August 2, 1990, (they were married on July 16, 1932); her parents, John and Cona (LaMonica) Igro; three sisters, Sophie Pusateri, Anna Deack, and Mary Sineri; and two brothers, Frank Igro and Tony Igro. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
