Forest R. "Dino" Carli's Obituary
Forest R. "Dino" Carli, 85, of Alliance, died on Monday, May 20, 2002, at 4:32 p.m. at Altercare of Alliance. Born in Alliance, on January 13, 1917, he had lived all of his life in Alliance. He had been employed as a crane operator at the Alliance Machine Company from June 23, 1941 until his retirement on April 30, 1979. Mr. Carli was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society, the Trentino Alpine Club, and was a volunteer with the Civilian Conservation Corps during the depression. Survivors include one sister, Elizabeth Bolog of Alliance, a brother, Al Carli of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Arlene; his parents, August and Mary (Luzzani) Carli; and a brother, William Carli. Calling hours will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
