Floy N. Geiselman's Obituary
Floy N. Geiselman, 92 of Alliance, died on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 6:45 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on June 28, 1919 in Alliance and lived in Alliance most of her life. She had resided in Louisville for 30 years and most recently at Sterling House for the past year and a half. She was a graduate of Atwater High School and had attended business college. She had been a member of Congregational Church in Atwater, and most recently at Paradise Church in Louisville. Mrs. Geiselman was a member of the Eastern Star, Louisville Chapter. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Geneva & Hal Cope of Wildomar, CA: her daughter, Bernice Thomas of Chicago Ridge, IL; two grandsons, Andrew J. Thomas and Robert Thomas; one great-grandson, Andrew J. Thomas, II; and a longtime friend & caregiver, George Dennis. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Andrew Kramer on March 24, 1962, whom she married on June 28, 1941; her second husband, Harold Geiselman; her parents, Fred and Hattie (Miller) Young; and one brother, Lewis Young. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Joyce Schroer of Paradise United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
