My deepest condolences to you, Marcia, and your whole family. Fern was such a force of nature and the world is a sadder place without her in it.
Marce, I am saddened by your mother's death. She was a second mother to me while you & I were in high school together. She encouraged our sewing and we made some beautiful things! Her food was the best, especially the gnocchi. I am thinking of what a difficult and strange time this is for you and your siblings and my heart goes out to you all. Cathy
When we first meet it was in 1977 at Copeland Oaks, I thought wow what a fascinating lady. She was so happy all the time ,I asked her what her secret was & she said ,Its the love of the lord & a glass of wine doesn't hurt ya ! I loved this lady like my own Mother, I only wish I could of got to visit w/ her before the lord took her. My heart goes out to Cheryl ,Dave, & Marcia. God bless
Fern was an absolutely delightful lady and I will treasure the times we had together! So much energy she had! When she would come up for a visit, I was the one who needed to take a nap before we set out and about again! She was an exceptional lady, so strong and determined. She taught me so much, what a blessing she has been. I am thinking of you, Marce and all of yours. Take care of yourselves and one another -- what a beautiful family Fern has created!
My heart aches for you Marcia, and for your family. My dear Mother is the same age as yours, and I know all too well how precious the time we spend with them is. I love you and believe that Mom Fern is in a very good place!
I send love and a warm heart to all. I am grateful I was able to meet Fern and spend a memorable Thanksgiving with her, Marcia and many good friends. much, much love, Diann
