Fama (Lare) Fleming's Obituary
Fama (Lare) Fleming, 89, of Los Angeles, California, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Los Angeles. Born on April 23, 1917 in Alliance, she moved to Los Angeles 46 years ago. She loved to dance and enjoyed watching the Lakers Basketball Team play and watching horse races. Fama is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and William McLaughlin of Alliance; daughter and friend, Joan Graber and Jeff Miller of Hartville; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Bil Arell of Mound House, Nevada; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Salaski of Alliance and Wilda Bahler of Beloit; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred and Elsie (Kaiser) Lare; two sisters, Zelda Weber and Dorothy Stephenson; and four brothers, Henry, Russell, Kenneth and Orvan Lare. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joe Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
