Evelyn F. Neiswonger's Obituary
Evelyn F. Neiswonger, 87, formerly of Alliance, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at 6:05 p.m. at Essex of Salem. Born in New Cumberland on June 29, 1915, she had been a resident of Alliance most of her life and was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church. Mrs. Neiswonger had been employed at Ohio Bell, O'Neil's, W. T. Grant, and Shem's Wallpaper and Paint, all in Alliance, and was a seamstress at home. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, R. Alan and Jennifer Neiswonger of Alliance; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, LaVaughn Miskimen of Dover. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ralph L. Neiswonger, they were married on November 14, 1941; and her parents, Oliver and Nellie (Moore) Householder. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2003, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Ruggles of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
