Evelyn E. Kline-Jenkins' Obituary
Evelyn E. (Jennings) Kline-Jenkins, 92, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:15 am at Altercare of Alliance.
Born on July 12, 1923 in Magnolia District, West Virginia to Homer A. and Florence A. (Shaw) Jennings, she lived in Akron and Alliance areas for most of her life.
Evelyn was member of First Baptist Church and was previously employed at Edwin Shaw Hospital.
She did her part during World War II by joining "Rosie the Riveters".
Survivors include her four grandsons, Kenneth (Nikki) Kline Jr. of Alliance, Shawn (Natalie Moorehead) Kline of Alliance, Jim (Rachael) Kline of Alliance and Kenneth "Koy" Kline of Alliance; three granddaughters, Shellee Kline of Alliance, Kendra Kline of Beloit and Elizabeth (Charles) Bennington of Alliance; several great-grandchildren; extended family, Fay Roy, Jesse and family of Marlboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Robert Lee Kline, Sr.; her second husband, Hoyte P. Jenkins; two sons, Kenneth Kline, Sr. and Robert Lee Kline, Jr.; two sisters; and four brothers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at First Baptist Church. Her Memorial Service will begin 11:00 am, with Pastor Steve Rhodes, of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery at a later date.
