Evelyn L. Alfani's Obituary
Evelyn L. Alfani, 79, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 8:15 pm at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Born on August 5, 1940 in Canton, to William and Thelma (Troupe) Brankel, she lived in Alliance since 1979.
Evelyn was employed as a cook at Maxie’s Drive In and Patrick’s Ice Cream Stand.
Evelyn enjoyed sewing, quilting, and many other crafts. She loved her Yorkie Dogs.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Clark of Florida; son, Mike Blair of California; six step-children, Vicki Burrier of Florida, Tony Alfani of Arkansas, Bob (Lisa) Alfani of Kentucky, David Alfani of Wisconsin, Joe (Holly) Alfani of Alliance and Mark (Darlene) Alfani of Canton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lynn Atkins of Wooster; two sisters, Helen Thornberry of Massillon and Sheila Shepherd of Navarre; a brother, Richard (Patricia) Brankel of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Ronald A. Alfani, whom she married on November 10, 1979 and who died on August 3, 2016; her daughter, Suzy Blair; a sister, Shirley Fryrear; two brothers, William and Robert Brankel; and her parents.
Private services will be held. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
