Etta Fox's Obituary
Etta (Mock) Fox, 84, of Alliance, passed away with her daughters by her side on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on May 6, 1934 in Columbus, Georgia to William and Pauline (Anderson) Mock, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Etta attended Alliance Baptist Temple and was employed at SanCap Abrasives for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society and enjoyed gardening, animals/birds, reading and especially spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her four daughters, Donna L. (Bill) Willard of Beloit, Sherrie D. Bartlett of Alliance, Laura J. Bolog of Alliance and Marian C. Leedy of Canton; two step-sons, Timothy Fox of Alliance and Todd Fox of Sebring; fourteen grandchildren, John, Michael, Bill, Marcus, Shane, Angel, Lindsey, Matt, Drew, Lenny, Carol, Dan, Leslie and Chadd; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Allison Ally Fox; her husband, James Fox; second husband, David R. Fox; step-son, David Fox; three brothers, Ed, James, and Robert Mock; and two sisters, Gladys Hazard and Beverly Beagle.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Payne, of Alliance Baptist Temple, officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
