Ethel Fern Myers' Obituary
Ethel Fern Myers, 91, of Alliance, died on Thursday, February 13, 2003, at 7:50 a.m. at McCrea Manor. Born in Flint, Michigan on June 11, 1911, she had lived in the Alliance-Beloit area most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Smith Grange. Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor (Paul) Carson of Minerva and Rosemary Ellis of Alliance; a son, Donald (Jean) Myers of Parkersburg, WV; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Lester J. Myers; her parents, Emmor and Annie (McQuistin) Schneider; three sisters, Iva Humphrey, Violet Kuhl, and Marilyn Raley; and a brother, Emmor Schneider. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, 2003, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, February 17, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Philip Neri Cemetery in Dungannon.
