Esther Marie Stipanovich's Obituary
Esther Marie (Uniatowski) Stipanovich, 78, of Minerva, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her home.
Born on April 8, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Stanley and Helen (Pflueger) Uniatowski, she lived in Minerva for the past 30 years.
She was a member of the National Honor Society and the Minerva Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Esther enjoyed traveling, sewing, bowling, camping, and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Theodore Joseph Stipanovich, whom she married on October 5, 1957; seven children, Cynthia (John) Krebs, Darlene (Felix) Mercurio, Theodore (Katherine Brouwer) Stipanovich, Esther (Raymond) Campbell, Jeffrey (Maura Pastorius) Stipanovich, Gregory Stipanovich and Susan (Daniel) Tubbs; thirteen grandchildren, Michael, Justin, TJ, Emily, Ashley, Rebecca, Nathan, Joshua, Alyssa, Brittany, Nicholas, Alexandria and Samantha; five great-grandchildren, Abbi, Lillyan, Mackenzie, Olivia and Jimmy; her sister, Betty (Mike) Reith; two brothers, Jack Uniatowski and Daniel (Bonnie) Uniatowski; brother-in-law, George Stipanovich; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Helen (Gary) Tomcik; sister-in-law, Judy Uniatowski; her brother, Stanley (Joanne) Uniatowski; and her sister-in-law, Evelyn Stipanovich.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 am, with Pastor John Ryser, of Damascus Friends Church, officiating. Cremation has taken place.
