Ernestine "Cookie" Flesher 's Obituary
Ernestine “Cookie” (Malson) Flesher, 73, of Atwater, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 3:13 pm at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on July 26, 1942 in Akron, Ohio to Ernest and Ethel (Cross) Malson, she lived in Atwater for most of her life.
Ernestine enjoyed sewing and gardening, but especially loved taking care of children.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Hilderbrand of Homeworth, OH, Monica Paris of Ravenna, OH, Beth Barker of Alliance, OH; son, Robert D Flesher of Clarington, OH; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Benjamin, Danielle & Sonya; four great-grandchildren, Kendra, Trinity, Hunter & Hanna; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Flesher, whom she married on August 12, 1958 and died on August 16, 2012; her parents, Ernest and Ethel Malson; and 12 siblings.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am, with Phillip Williamson, her nephew, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Old German Church Rd Cemetery in Atwater.
