Elpidia Quiroga's Obituary
Elpidia "Mary" Quiroga, 87, of Alliance, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 11:49 am at Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on March 4, 1931 in Edcouch, Texas, to Librado and Marcella (Monguia) Garcia, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Mary was employed at Production Molding & then retired from DLH in Louisville.
The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their kindness and care for Elpidia "Mary".
Survivors include two daughters, Rosalinda (Glenn) Dean of Hartville and Tammia Quiroga of Alliance; a son, Eddie (Cynthia) Quiroga of Tempe, AZ; nine grandchildren, Scott (Denise) Dean, Tirzah (Eric) Somers, Eddie, Ariel, Nadim, Isaac, Zachary, Oasis and Elliot Quiroga; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her son, Oscar Quiroga; her husband, Bibiano “Shorty” Quiroga; her mother, Marcella Flores; and her father, Librado Garcia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
