Elizabeth J. Reutski's Obituary
Elizabeth J. Reutski, 81, of Alliance, died on Monday, September 15, 2008, at 7:45 a.m. at her home following an extended illness. She was born on October 6, 1926 in Ozd, Hungary to the late Andrew and Gizella (Fejes) Kisik I, and lived in Alliance most of her life. Prior to her relocation to the United States she was a resident of Green Acres, Australia for 20 years. Elizabeth was employed by the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church for 27 years. Mrs. Reutski had a natural talent in the art of yarn, which she had shared with family and friends throughout the years. She is survived by a son, Walter John Reutski; a daughter-in-law, Tracy Lynn Reutski; five grandchildren, Christina Dawn Reutski, Kelly Lenora Betz, Dana Jon Betz, Jessica Ann Showers, and Craig Alan Showers; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Katharina Cibulas; a sister-in-law, Lydia (John) Kisik-Welch; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Vlado Reutski on November 10, 1978; two sisters, Grace Tamas and Anna Stubner; two brothers, Alexander Kisik and Andrew Kisik II; a niece, Anna Kisik-Wilbur; and two nephews, Kurt and Manfred Kisik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
