Elizabeth J. "Lib" Glasser's Obituary
Elizabeth J. "Lib" Glasser, 90, of Homeworth, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at 5:40 a.m. at her home. Born on September 28, 1918 in Alliance, she graduated from Alliance High School and lived here all of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church. In her past-time, she enjoyed gardening and crafts. She especially loved to take care of her grandchildren. Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Jane (Don) Woodward of Fayetteville, GA; four sons, Pat (Mary Ann) Glasser of Barberton, Jim (Janet) Glasser of Salem, Tim (Cindy) Glasser of Hartville and Phil (Brenda) Glasser of Homeworth; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Helen Corbi of Sebring; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Pat Glasser, Sr. on August 28, 2002, whom she married on February 17, 1943; a granddaughter, Shawna Glasser; her parents, Daniel and Ethelwyn (Jones) Otto; and a brother, William Otto. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
