Elizabeth A. Ferguson's Obituary
Elizabeth A. Ferguson, 80, of Alliance, died on Monday, September 08, 2003, at 4:45 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center following a short illness. She was born August 5, 1923, in North Industry to the late Walter and Cathrine Handshuh and was a resident of Alliance most of her life. Mrs. Ferguson was a housewife and a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, & birds and loved her cat Kitty. She is survived by three sons, James Ferguson of Alliance, Clyde Tiny Ferguson and fiancee, Cindy Mogus of Alliance, and Eugene and Sandy Ferguson of North Benton; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ferguson on February 3, 1983; her parents; and three sisters, Mildred McNutt, Nina Miesmer, and Margaret Wilson. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 12, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Price, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
