Elizabeth R. Bolog's Obituary
Elizabeth R. Bolog, 92, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on March 7, 1921 in Minerva, OH, she lived in Alliance since 1941. Mrs. Bolog was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. In her past-time, she enjoyed cooking, watching westerns on TV and maintaining her home. Survivors include her son, James E. Bolog of Alliance; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Frank & Betty Bolog of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Bolog on July 6, 1992, whom she married on December 23, 1946; two daughters, Marylin Beck and Carolyn Stanley; her parents, Edward Ottomer and Clara Edith (Jarett) Reed; 3 sisters, Edna C. Reed, Anna (William) Reynolds, Julia Stone; 7 brothers, Abe B. Reed, Edward E. Reed, Luke Al Reed, Jay J. Reed, David A. Reed, Hubert C. Reed and Gerald W. Reed. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Muse of St. Paul s Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
