Eleanor M. Yaskulka's Obituary
Eleanor M. (Kofler) Yaskulka, 85, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at her home in Alliance.
Born on February 20, 1934 in Youngstown, to Harold and Florence (Grode) Kofler, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
A 1952 graduate of Ursuline High School, Eleanor was member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
She was a member of several Euchre and Card Clubs and the Marlboro Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Eleanor supported the Korean War Veterans Association and the attended monthly VFW luncheons.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 64 years, Joseph J. Yaskulka, whom she married on September 10, 1955 and who passed away on March 3, 2019; and her parents.
Survivors include her two daughters, Laura (Mike) Grimstad of Salem and Lynn (Joe) Sickle of Findlay; son, Gregory (JoAnn) Yaskulka of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Beckie (Jesse) Daugherty, Erik (Alyssa) Sickle, Brendan Yaskulka and Zachary Yaskulka; a sister, Cindy (Edward) Korchnak of Youngstown; three nieces, Corinne Kisik, Christy McIlvain and Diane Yaskulka-Waugh; and two nephews, Mark Yaskulka and Scott Yaskulka.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Ruggieri as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
