Eldon "Butch" Weaver 's Obituary
Eldon L. "Butch" Weaver, 73, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born on October 17, 1942 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance for most of his life and was a 50 year member of Temple Israel of Canton.
A 1960 graduate of Louisville High School, Butch was employed at Lavery Chevrolet in the Parts Department for 39 years.
Butch enjoyed drag racing, riding and restoring motorcycles, was a Cleveland Indians and Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved spending time with his family and his dog, Buster.
Survivors include his wife, Florence "Punkin" (Cohn) Weaver, whom he married on March 14, 1964; his daughter, Susan Weaver of Alliance; his son, Scott (Denise) Weaver of Randolph; three granddaughters, Molly (Adrian) Styer of Akron, Katherine and Sara Weaver of Randolph; and a great-granddaughter, Zoë Styer.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Georgia A. (Guthrie) Weaver.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rabbi Jon Adland and Rabbi John Spitzer, Emeritus co-officiating. Burial will immediately follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
