My condolences to the family. I recalled once I read of your mother's passing of her performance at the South Lincoln Elementary School. We were a party to a marvelous, wonderful sound brought forth from the marimba instrument Mrs. Tate played for us! The unmistakable sound was unlike any I'd heard ever! She brought joy and happiness to all close to her - and that day we - all us kids - were close to her!
Greetings and sincere sympathies from Las Vegas, NV. I had the great privilege of knowing and enjoying the friendship and talents of the many members of the Tate family during my years in Alliance, OH. I appreciated their musical abilities as we often performed at churches as well as for other community organizations. John and Elda were amazing, special people and will be missed by all who knew them.
A heart of gold stopped beating...two shining eyes at rest. God broke your hearts to prove God only takes the best. 💗
Our heartfelt condolences to all the family. Elda was such a very special person, outgoing, interested in everything, wonderful, always cheerful! We will miss her very much! Many tears from Germany, Gabi and family
I always wished I had the energy Aunt Elda had. She was always busy, bustling around taking care of something. Thinking of your families as you say goodbye to your mother. It’s never easy losing a “mom”. No matter how old she was or how old you are. This elevates your place in the family. Good memories live forever. Enjoy those memories! Marann and Tom Lapp
Elda was such a delightful person. Among other things I will always remember her beautiful roses. She and John had a wonderful family and our prayers are with them.
