Elaine E. Duvall's Obituary
Elaine E. (Tkacs) Duvall, 83, of Deerfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 12:23 am at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Piney Fork, Ohio to Joseph and Maria (Zambory) Tkacs and lived in Deerfield since 1955. She was a graduate of Edinburg High School and was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. She was a member of American Legion, Post 713, Ladies Auxiliary Deerfield, OH; Knights of Columbus #558, Ladies Auxiliary; and the Deerfield Sirenettes of the Deerfield Fire Dept. Elaine enjoyed going with her husband to various casinos, but especially loved her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Howard J. Duvall, whom she married on August 30, 1950; her seven children, Fred Duvall of Deerfield, OH, Elaine Harner of Tallmadge, OH, Marsha (Michael) Graening of Atwater, OH, Linda (George) Shuma of Meriden, CT, Mary Jane Duvall of Alliance, OH, Connie Ann (Thomas) Wade of Massillon, OH, Frank (Jane) Duvall of Randolph, OH; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maria (Zambory) Tkacs; two sisters, Betty Mehall and Mary Stavaray; a brother, Paul Tkacs; a granddaughter, Erin Duvall; and son-in-law, Chuck Harner. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
