Effie Triplett, 83, of Alliance, died on September 18, 2003 at 3:40 a.m. at her home. Born to Thomas and Pauline (Stamatis) Gemalas, in Providence, Rhoad Island, on October 27, 1919, she had been a resident of San Diego for 33 years and had been a resident of Alliance in 2003. There will be no services or calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
