Edward B. "Eddie" Paina Jr.'s Obituary
Edward B. “Eddie” Paina, Jr., 81, of Sebring, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Born on March 16, 1938 in Alliance, to Edward B. and Clara (Cerana) Paina, he lived in Sebring for most of his life.
A 1955 graduate of Alliance High School, he served our country in the U.S. Army and the Ohio National Guard.
Eddie was employed at B & W Tubular Products as a Supervisor and retired after 26 years of service.
He enjoyed traveling West, golfing, watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Mt. Union Football.
His witty sense of humor will be missed.
Survivors include wife, Delores "Dee" (Holm) Paina, whom he married on February 16, 1971; six children, Lori Lynn Zeigler, Scott (Jodi) Paina, Diane (Bob) Howell, Steve (Sue) Yarian, Chris (Gregg) McGary and Lori Kay (Dave) Dickens; 9 grandchildren; 13 1/2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ron Paina.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Timothy Muse, of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital.
