Edna F. Regoli's Obituary
Edna F. Regoli, 92, of Alliance, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 10:10 a.m. at Community Care Center in Alliance. Mrs. Regoli had recently resided at Copeland Oaks. Born on March 13, 1919 in Alliance, she had lived in Alliance all of her life. She was a 1939 graduate of Alliance High School. Edna had previously worked at the former A&P Grocery Store and at Hunt s Market. She loved baking and made the best homemade ravioli. She also enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and reading. She is survived by a son, Mac A. (Jaydne) Regoli of Freeburg; twin daughters, Joyce (Stan) Salamon of North Canton and Joanne (David) Baker of Minerva; granddaughter, Sara Regoli, of Alliance; grandson, Brad Regoli, of Freeburg; step-grandson, Jason (Stephanie) Salamon, of North Canton; step-granddaughter, Nicole (Mike) Beros, of Canton; step great-grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandria, Jacob, Elizabeth, Stanley Salamon, & Olivia Beros; two sisters, Dorothy Young, and Ruth Hoppes, both of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Mac Regoli on June 8, 1990, whom she married on May 30, 1940; her parents, William and Katherine (Eisenhuth) Forney; two sisters, Mabel Vetters and Grace Tetlow; and three brothers, Roy, Clyde and Earl Forney. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Megan Elliott, Pastor of Abiding Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
