Edith Kay Worley's Obituary
Edith Kay Worley, 71, of Beloit, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:18 p.m. at her home with her family by her side. She was born on March 8, 1943 in Alliance, to Ray and Verna (Maloney) Harris and lived in Beloit for most of her life. Edith enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Edith is survived by her husband, Jack Lee Worley, whom she married on February 14, 1981; her daughter and best friend, Debbie (Jeff) Riesen; her son, Jerry (Joyce) Koerner; son, Terry (Elaine) Koerner; daughter, Jackie (Bill) Wallace; daughter, Tammy Lowry; daughter, Melissa (John) Chaffin; son, Mark Worley; son, Glen Worley; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Nichols and Butch Nichols; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bonnie Wirth, and Ruth Mathes; a son, Dana Worley: and a sister-in-law, Sandy Nichols. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Wayne Benner officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
