Edith P. Retterer's Obituary
Edith P. Retterer, 79, of Alliance, died on Monday, March 14, 2005, at 11:45 a.m. at her residence. She was born in Owl s Nest, PA, on November 14, 1925, and graduated from Warren High School in Warren, PA. Edith is survived by her husband, Lewis L. Retterer; two daughters, Debra R. Retterer and Mrs. Russell (Carol B.) Davis; a son, Norman L. Retterer; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Norman L. (Bobbi Jo) Retterer; sisters-in-law, Joanne Retterer and Mrs. Arnold (Rosa Lee) Whipple; brother-in-law, Mr. Ross Morell; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Selma (Stenstrom) Whipple; son-in-law, Russell Davis; sisters, Ethel Ponsell, Madeline Morell, and Lillian Rapp and their spouses; and brothers, Leo Whipple, Grant Whipple, and Arnold Whipple and their spouses. A Memorial Service will be held at Highland Memorial Park Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Marty CashBurless, Chaplain, Mount Union College officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
