Edith D. Raga's Obituary
Edith D. Raga, 86, of Beloit, died on Friday, January 2, 2004 at 7:15 p.m. at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Born in Alliance on January 21, 1917, she was a lifetime resident of Alliance. Mrs. Raga was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of the former Ladies of the Christopher. Survivors include three sons, Larry J. Raga of Beloit, Robert A. Raga of Sebring and Richard P. Raga of Sevierville, TN; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Florence M. (Canonico) Maffei; her husband, Peter Raga in July of 1963; two sisters, Helen Maffei and Catherine Maffei; and a brother, John L. Maffei. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2004, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
