Earlene Pittman 's Obituary
Earlene Pittman, 86, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10:51 am at her home with her children by her side.
Born on April 12, 1931 in Newdale, North Carolina to Garrett D. and Mary Jane (Hodge) Honeycutt, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Earlene was a frequent bingo player and enjoyed spending her time cleaning.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence D. Pittman, whom she married on February 22, 1953; her two daughters, Patricia Zickefoose of Las Vegas, NV and Cynthia Leech of Alliance; a son, Gary David Pittman of Alliance; six grandchildren, Terry Lee (Samantha) Conley, Timmy (Tina) Conley, Amanda Pittman, Amber Pittman, Heather (Jake) Hunter and Tyler VanCamp; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Boone of Alliance; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding her in death was her parents; four sisters, Kathleen Elliott, Barbara Ann Hughes, Wanda Roberts and Marie Musick; and four brothers, Reuben Honeycutt, Perry Honeycutt, Charles Honeycutt and Jess Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Joshua Smith, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
