Duane Earl Santee's Obituary
Duane Earl Santee, 57, of Beloit, died on Monday, June 21, 2004, at 3 :25 p.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Born in Salem on May 23, 1947, Mr. Santee lived in the Salem area all of his life. A graduate of West Branch High School, he was a truck driver and parts manager for Guess Motors, Inc. in Carrollton. Duane was a member of the Damascus Friends Church and the Believers Christian Fellowship in Salem. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He is survived by two sons, Clinton H. Santee of Damascus and Gary E. Santee of Alliance; three grandchildren, Daniel, Brittany and Cody; his parents, Wendell and Verla (Cobbs) Santee of Beloit; three sisters, Joyce (Mike) Stiffler of Beloit, Jane (Don) Hardy of North Georgetown, and Nancy (Tom) Jones of Salem; a brother, Jim (Theresa) Santee of Salem; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles: and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah (Eye) Santee on May 24, 2002, (they were married June 30, 1973). The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 :00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Rowley of the Believers Christian Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
