Dorothy Jean (Warner) Walters Stanfield's Obituary
Dorothy Jean (Warner) Walters Stanfield, 87, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2012 at 11:40 p.m. at her caregiver s home in Beloit. Born on March 1, 1925 in Alliance, she lived in Alliance all of her life and was a graduate of Alliance High School. Dorothy was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. In her pastime, she enjoyed her cats. Survivors her step-daughter, Rochelle (Gale) Williamson of Alliance; three step-sons, Robert (Marriane) Stanfield, of Alliance, Larry (Lynn) Stanfield of Jacksonville, FL and Terry (Carolyn) Stanfield of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Edward W. "Eddie" Stanfield on July 22, 2004, whom she married on July 5, 1958; step-daughter, Judy Schneider; granddaughter, Janise Craig Schneider; infant daughter, Denise Nicole Walters; her mother, Artillissia Warner; three sisters, Mary Ruth "Boots" Moulin, Eleatha Mae Quay and Gladys Chernikovich; and a brother, Eugene Warner. Her memorial service will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
