Dorothy "Dottie" Murphy's Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" Murphy, 63, of 767 S. Freedom, died on Thursday, July 11, 2002 at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Rogers, Ohio on April 11, 1939, she had lived in the Alliance area for ten years. She was employed at Wal-Mart as a cashier until her recent illness. She was a member of the William Penn Club and the AAA. Survivors include two daughters, Ann Ingram and Virginia Weyand, both of East Liverpool; three sons, Richard Falkner of the home, David Falkner of Alliance, Kenneth of St. Clairsville; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Emailine Carnes of East Liverpool, Alice Anderson of Wellsville; and a half-brother, Harvey Crawford of East Liverpool. Preceding her in death was her son, Harry Falkner, Jr.; and her parents, Homer and Leota (Dailey) Anderson. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
