Dorothy Mae "Grandma" Miller's Obituary
Dorothy Mae "Grandma" Miller, 85, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 5:00 a.m. at Canterbury Villa. She was born on November 30, 1921 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of her life. In her younger years Dorothy was a waitress at the original College Inn and at the former Trianon and Jeannette s. She loved people and all animals. She is survived by her two daughters, Marlene Miller of Alliance and Judy (Delbert) Fullerton of Sebring; four grandchildren, the loves of her life, Mike Miller and Jeff Fullerton, whom she helped raise, Kim Fullerton and Delbert Fullerton, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on April 12, 1988, whom she married on December 24, 1941; a granddaughter, Shelly; her parents, Newton and Clara (Karlen) Rowe; a sister, Mildred; and a brother, Robert. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2007 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph A. Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
