Dorothy I. (Besselman) Frank's Obituary
Dorothy I. (Besselman) Frank, 86, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at her home. Born on November 13, 1922 in Louisville, OH she lived in Alliance most of her life. She graduated from Louisville High School and was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. In her past-time, she enjoyed bowling and card playing. She was a happy homemaker and loved being with her family. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Cletus J. Frank whom she married on May 10, 1947; two daughters, Sheila (Philip) Budervic of Boca Raton, FL and Nancy (Jack) Vogt of Louisville; two sons, Daniel Frank of Canton and Patrick (Debra) Frank of Alliance; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, William F. and Cecilia L. (Lundy) Besselman, Sr.; four sisters, Marie Pero, Rose Morena, Mildred Skidmore and Florence Vitale; and two brothers, William F. Besselman, Jr. and Gerard C. Besselman. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert, as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Louis Cemetery at a later date.
