Dorothy M. (Weaver) Dourm's Obituary
Dorothy M. (Weaver) Dourm, 86, of Alliance, died on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. at Community Care Center of Alliance. She was born on May 1, 1921 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of her life. Mrs. Dourm was a member of the Beechwood United Methodist Church. Dorothy is survived by her seven daughters, Patricia Cain of Alliance, Donna Cook of Lisbon, Kathy White of Rootstown, Diane Conaway of Deerfield, Bell Miller of Austintown, Gretchen Dourm of Ravenna and Becky Deitke of Lake Milton; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lela Barnard of Cortland and Martha Honaker of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dourm on April 21, 1965, whom she married on May 8, 1940; an infant daughter; a son, James Dourm; one granddaughter, Tina Louise Cain; parents, Elmer and Alti (Youtz) Weaver; a sister, Evelyn Dourm; and three brothers, Ralph Weaver, John Weaver and Robert Weaver. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Wallace of the Beechwood United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at West Beech Cemetery.
