Dorothy Castellucci's Obituary
Dorothy (Marazza) Castellucci, 87, of Maumee, and formerly of Alliance, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:55 p.m. at Elizabeth Scott Community in Maumee, Ohio.
Born on March 20, 1929 in Alliance, to Domenico and Angelina (Carozzi) Marazza, she lived in Alliance until she moved in 2010 to Monclova to be near her family.
Dorothy was a graduate of Alliance High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was employed at Sugar & Spice for 10 years and then at Giant Eagle Deli before retirement. Her true joy was cooking.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (James) Pappas of Clermont, FL, Joyce (Richard) Crabtree of Fort Mill, SC, and Donna (Joseph) Hoskins of Monclova, OH; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Thomas Castellucci, whom she married on August 16, 1947 and died on May 31, 1999; her parents; two sisters, Yolanda Rasile and Jenny Rasile; and two brothers, James Marazza and Dominic Marazza.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski, of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
