Dorothy K. "Dot" Brick's Obituary
Dorothy K. "Dot" Brick, 80, of Alliance, died on Monday, October 20, 2008, at 11:15 a.m. at McCrea Manor. She was born on October 4, 1928 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of her life. Mrs. Brick attended First Christian Church in Alliance and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Alliance. Dorothy retired from Manhattan Cleaners. She is survived by two sisters, Sally (Robert) Shilling of Atwater and Linda (Robert) Becker of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy D. Brick, Jr. on April 28, 1986, whom she married on May 10, 1947; her parents, Vernon and Nellie (Moore) Knowles; and a brother, V. William Knowles. There will be no services or calling hours. Interment will take place at Alliance City Cemetery at a later date.
