Dorothy Booth's Obituary
Dorothy Booth, 83, of Atwater, died on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Booth was born in Holloway, Ohio, on April 24, 1920, and lived in Atwater area for 53 years. She retired from Alliance Community Hospital where she had been employed as a nurses' aide in obstetrics. She enjoyed drawing. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Chuck) Pinkerton of Alliance; a son, Jerry (Cindy) Booth of Atwater; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Booth in 1984; her garents, Delbert and Leva (Lamb) Jones; foster parents, John and Katherine Pittman of Phillipi, WV; two sisters, Katherine Lawson and Ottley Grigowski and a brother, Denzel Jones. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 :30 - 2:30 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor M. G. Bud Votaw of Living Faith Family Fellowship Church of Canton officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
