Doris F. Morris Ritchie's Obituary
Doris F. Morris Ritchie, 90, of Beloit, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 9:15 p.m. at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Born on April 6, 1920 in Salem, she had attended Salem City Schools and lived in Beloit for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and was a member of the V.F.W Auxiliary in Sebring. She is survived by a daughter, Judith K. (Bruce) Pabon of Charlotte, NC; a son, Donald R. (Patricia) Morris of Damascus; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, "Mia". Preceding her in death was her first husband, Donald P. Morris in 1983; her second husband, Raymond N "Bud" Ritchie in 2004: a son, Gerald L. Morris in 1989; her parents, Edward and Gertrude (Coppock) Lantz; and a sister, Eva Grell. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
