Donna Mae Dougherty's Obituary
Donna Mae Dougherty, 77, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at her home. She was born on August 11, 1932 in Rinard Mills, OH, and lived in Alliance since 1949. Donna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo and their Altar and Rosary Society. In her past-time, she enjoyed cooking and crocheting and especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Dougherty, whom she married on May 28, 1949; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Bill Murphy of Alliance, Patti and Keith Kaser of N. Royalton and Vicki and Eric Morris of Reynoldsburg; a son and his companion, Charles K. Dougherty and Renee` Noling of Alliance; nine grandchildren, Joseph T. Weyer, Randall L. (Gail) Weyer, Gina L. Dougherty, Jordan, Jenna and Jocelyn Morris and Seth, Drew and Ethan Kaser; two great-grandchildren, Bradley Chain and Gatlin Weyer; a sister, Zetta Hill of New Matamoras; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Doris Scott of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was a grandson, Jeremy Scott Weyer; her parents, James Tony and Matilda Jane (Graham) Scott; two sisters, Janet Griffin and M. Beryl Lisk; and two brothers, Chauncey and C. Ralph Scott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Ungashick, as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
