Donald E. Withrow's Obituary
Donald E. Withrow, 83, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2023.
Born on February 25, 1940 in Crown Hill, West Virginia to Delbert and Mary (Dettimore) Withrow, he lived in Alliance most of his life.
Don was employed at American Steel Foundry as a welder and retired in 1997 after 34 years of service.
Don enjoyed camping, fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Boner) Withrow, whom he married on March 5, 1959; his daughter, Terri Shonk of Alliance; three sons, Kim (Laura) Withrow of Canton, Gary (Donna) Withrow of Sebring and Delbert (Stacy) Withrow of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Bruce Shonk, Jr., Mark Shonk, Anthony Withrow, Joseph Withrow, Dustin Withrow, Tiffany Withrow, Emily Withrow and Robert Withrow; four great-grandchildren, Dakota Shonk, Gregory Mummert, Scarlet Shonk and Kyra Withrow; three sisters, Louise, Rosemary and Almada; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers, Luther Withrow, Lester Withrow, Keith Withrow and Paul Withrow; and two sisters, Maxine Bounds and Darlena Kinder.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
