Donald R. Courtwright's Obituary
Donald R. Courtwright, 68, of Sebring, went to be with the Lord at his home on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 5:45 a.m. Born in McCracken, PA on October 12, 1936, Mr. Courtwright lived in the Alliance/Sebring area most of his life. Donald retired from Pittsburgh Foundry and Machine, of Salem, where he was a crane operator. He was a member of The Alliance Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Henderson) Courtwright; Two daughters, Beth (Russ) Pittman of Sebring, and Dawn (John) Coldsnow of Beloit; two sons, Ray (Laura) Courtwright of North Lima, and David (Peggie) Courtwright of East Rochester; four sisters, Myrtle (Gerry) Schaefer of Chambersburg, PA, Sadie Marshall of Alliance, Betty Marshall of Alliance, and Suann Doutt of Waynesburg, PA; 15 grandchildren, Julie Pittman, John (Chelsi) Coldsnow, Michael (Betsi) Pittman, Jack Coldsnow, Steven Courtwright, Nicole Courtwright, T.J. Lindquist, Jessica Courtwright, Kelsey Courtwright, Kayla Coldsnow, Michelle Courtwright, Jessica Lindquist, Kyle Coldsnow, Kristy Courtwright, and Alaina Courtwright; and two great grandchildren, Tianna Dillon and Mason Pittman. Mr. Courtwright was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Leatha (Hartley) Courtwright; an infant son, Jeffrey Scott Courtwright; an infant sister, Virginia Courtwright, and three brothers, James Courtwright, Guy Courtwright and Mack Courtwright.. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
