Donald Cooper, Sr.'s Obituary
Donald Cooper, Sr., 58, of Alliance, died on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at 8:05 a.m. at his home. He was born on April 24, 1951 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of his life. Donald attended West Branch High School and worked for Keener Rubber. In his past-time, he enjoyed fishing at Berlin Lake and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Lova (Wilkinson) Cooper, whom he married in March, 1969; daughters Deanna Cooper of Canton, Angel (Todd) Naugle of Alliance, Jody (Matt) Dowdy of Alliance; son Donald (Tammy) Cooper of Alliance; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Brady Russell Cooper, George (Shirley) Cooper, Hugh (Ethel) Cooper and Chris Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death his parents, Brady Edward Cooper and Betty Marie (Lambright) Cooper; and brothers John Barry Cooper, Bobby Cooper and Harold Cooper. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fay Rockaway of House of Praise for All People officiating. Cremation will follow.
